The Manaslu Region is still in the eastern part of the Annapurna area, and the north is approached with Tibet, which offers mountain scenery and Tibetan Buddhism, with large monasteries on the trails. This Manaslu Trekking area is still intact and only a handful of hikers are walking these trails. Due to its beautiful Himalayan landscape and its small population, hiking in Manaslu is famous every year. New teahouses are available for accommodations. The tea house damaged by the earthquake in April 2015 and has been refurbished and is fully operational now.
