Our trip to Everest Base Camp in Tibet begins with an amazing flight through the Himalayas through the spectacular Kanchenjunga peak (8536 m) to the sacred land of Lhasa and, of course, the mountains. Everest. We have three nights to adapt to the environment in Lhasa. We have witnessed the historical sights and sounds of ancient Shangri-La, such as the Potala Palace, the Norbulinkha Temple, the Jorkhang Temple, Sera and the Drepung Monastery. We visited Gyantse to explore historical forts and monasteries.

In Shigatse, we visit the impressive Tashilhunpo Monastery, the former seat of the Panchen Lama, and then we passed through the wind-swept Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the spectacular Rongbu Valley and Mount Everest Base Camp. The view of Beikang from the mountains is very striking from the base camps of Everbuk and Everest. You are fascinated by the imposing mountain roads and rugged terrain, as well as the incredible formation of the highest in the world.

It is great to see the beautiful rocky waterfalls and canyons hidden slightly in the misty flight of the mountains. Shisapangma (8212 m) returned to the Nepalese board of directors on our way to end the exciting trip to Mount Everest Base Camp in Lhasa.

Take a trip to the most amazing and hidden north of Mount Everest in Everest base camp in Tibet and experience the beautiful mountain scenery of Tibet, the “Roof of the World”. We travel along the same path used by climbers of Everest to end our trip to the Everest Premium Camp of 6,340 meters. The trip begins in Lhasa and we will visit the Potala Palace and the Norbulingka Palace, as well as other landmarks in the city. Then, we went to Shigatse and finally to Lotingri, which is where the real walk begins. During this period, we also visited several Tibetan places of interest, such as the impressive Tashilhunpo Monastery, the Stupa Khumbum and the Phalkot Monastery, which show the rich culture and history of the Tibetans. At the top of the highest peak in the world, Everest guarantees that we can see the majestic peaks, which is a surreal experience for any adventurer.

Day 01: Arrival in Lhasa (3,650 m/11,972ft)

Day 02: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Traditional Hospital: 5 – 6 hours

Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar: 5 – 6 hours

Day 04: Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse (3,900m/12,795 ft) via Gyantse: 367km, 6 – 7 hours

Day 05: Drive from Shigatse to LaoTingri – Langkor Monastery (4490m): 330km

Day 06: Trek Langkor monastery to Cho Oyu Base Camp (5100m): 5hrs

Day 07: Trek Cho Oyu Base Camp to foot of Lamna La Pass (4750m): 4-5 hrs

Day 08:  Trek to Dzakarchu river – Rongbuk Monastery (5000m): 6-7 hrs

Day 09: Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp (5,250m/17,220ft): 4- 5 hours

Day 10: Acclimatization and Exploration at Everest Base Camp

Day 11: Everest Base Camp to Japanese Camp (5,460m/17,913ft): 12 Km, 3 – 4 hours

Day 12: Japanese Camp to Interim Camp (5,800m/19,028): 7 Km, 4 – 5 hours

Day 13: Trek to Changtse Base Camp (5,950m/19,520ft): 5 Km, 3 – 4 hours

Day 14: Trek to Everest Advanced Base camp and back to Changtse Base Camp (6,340m/20,800ft) : 7 to 8 hours

Day 15: Return to EBC and drive to Lotingri (4,348m/14,268ft): 5 -6 hours trek, 2 hour drive

Day 16: Drive from Lotingri to Kerung (2800m/9186ft): 4-5 hours

Day 17: Kerung to Kathmandu by drive
